From BWTS data to operational visibility
Connected directly to the ERMA FIRST BWTS control panel, Ballast Water IQ continuously records the operational data generated by the system.
The system connects through a single Ethernet cable to the BWTS control panel, or to the repeater panel where fitted, and generates predefined reports directly onboard. Instead of relying on manual data collection, crews can have the information they need organized and available for reporting helping turn day-to-day BWTS operation into a clearer and more structured process.

Two deployment configurations are available
Edge – Stand-Alone Operation
With the edge configuration, all data collection, storage, analysis and reporting are performed locally onboard. No Internet connection is required. This configuration provides the core functionality of Ballast Water IQ while keeping the complete data process onboard.
Integrated – Connected Operation
The Integrated configuration provides all Edge functionality while adding one-way communication of reports and spreadsheets directly to the company’s email.
If a data file is too large to be sent as an email attachment, it can instead be shared through a download link.
