At the Future of BioLNG: Europe 2026 Conference, discussions on the future of low-carbon fuels and circular carbon technologies brought together key industry voices shaping the next phase of the energy transition.
ERMA TECH GROUP’s Mr. Alberto Di Cecio (Head of CCUS), delivered a presentation titled “Closing the Carbon Loop – Biogenic CO₂ Recovery + Renewable H₂ Methanation to Boost Yield and Create e-BioLNG Value.” The session examined how biogenic CO₂ recovery and renewable hydrogen methanation can be combined to improve efficiency and unlock new value streams within the emerging e-BioLNG landscape.
The discussion further expanded into the practical application of carbon capture and utilization strategies across maritime operations as well as small- to medium-scale land-based emitters, highlighting viable pathways for CO₂ reutilisation and storage.
