Women Ocean Champions, a WIN-BIG project initiative dedicated to showcasing 100 women shaping Europe’s blue economy, has recognized Eleni Polychronopoulou, President of ERMA TECH GROUP, among its selected leaders.
In her words, Ms. Polychronopoulou reflects on the founding of ERMA FIRST in 2009, driven by a deep sense of responsibility toward ocean protection and sustainable maritime development. What began as a focused initiative has since grown into a global success story.
Today, ERMA FIRST ranks 2nd globally in Ballast Water Treatment Systems, with more than 4,000 systems installed worldwide. This journey has been instrumental in the broader evolution of ERMA TECH GROUP into a global reference point in marine environmental solutions and energy-saving technologies.
