ERMA FIRST, part of ERMA TECH GROUP, was recognised by the International Propeller Club of the United States – Port of Piraeus for its contribution to strengthening maritime relations between Greece and the United States.
The distinction highlights ERMA FIRST’s longstanding commitment to advancing standards across the maritime industry, while continuously supporting international collaboration among key maritime stakeholders. Through its innovative environmental solutions and forward-looking approach, ERMA FIRST has established itself as a benchmark ballast water treatment solution provider dedicated to environmental compliance and responsible shipping practices.
The award was presented during the Propeller Club New Year’s Reception 2026, held on February 1 at the Hotel Grande Bretagne, an event that brought together prominent representatives of the maritime industry, government officials, and members of the international shipping community.
Representing the entire ERMA TECH GROUP, Ms. Eleni Polychronopoulou and Mr. Konstantinos Stampedakis received the award on behalf of the company, marking an important recognition of the Group’s ongoing contribution to strengthening transatlantic maritime cooperation.
The award was presented by H.E. the U.S. Ambassador to Greece and Honorary President of the International Propeller Club of the United States – Port of Piraeus, Ms. Kimberly Guilfoyle, together with Mr. Costis Frangoulis, President of the International Propeller Club.
This recognition further reflects ERMA FIRST’s role in supporting a more sustainable and collaborative global maritime industry, while reinforcing the strong and longstanding ties between the Greek and U.S. maritime communities.
